General Questions
Q: I like everything you’ve shown me. How do I buy it?
A: We’re glad you dig it. Use this form to contact us and we’ll get the ball rolling.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Pricing is based on the population you serve. There are no confusing pricing tiers where you have to pay more to unlock features. We believe you should have everything you need to run a response right from the get go.
Q: Who owns my data?
A: You do. You can download it at any time to Excel or a CSV file.
Q: How long does it take to learn to use Logista?
A: It takes less than five minutes to train field-based staff on how to track inventory and roughly 1 hour to learn for your Lead Administrator.
Q: We use a cache system for responses. Will Logista work?
A: Absolutely. Logista was designed to be deployed in real-time as disasters occur, and caches are a large part of response efforts. We recommend you set up your caches in the system in advance so you can activate both the software and the materiel simultaneously.
Q: Can we use Logista just to track our logistics in the field?
A: Yes. Logista can be used to track everything from a warehouse down to a strike team. It can be layered on top of existing logistics tools so that you have data from the field even if you already have an LMS in place at your warehouse.
Q: Will Logista still work if our warehouse LMS counts are off?
A: Yes. As long as you put accurate counts into Logista when you deploy it, then it will run independently from your existing warehousing systems. So Logista will still be accurate even if your warehouse numbers are a little, shall we say, “squishy.” However, if you use Logista as your warehouse LMS then you won't have to worry about inaccurate counts.
Q: Are you guys working on an app? I’d really like an app. Apps are cool.
A: Our system is cross-platform compatible and mobile optimized. This means you can run it from any device you need to. This also allows us to continue innovating on the platform to get people the capabilities they need as quickly as possible.
Q: Why do you recommend counting everything in by “each”?
A: There are two good reasons we recommend counting your inventory by “each”:
1. Counting “eaches” gives you a more granular burn rate that is better for analysis.
2. Not all products are packaged with standard counts per box, crate, or tub. A good example are exam gloves: most boxes come standard with 100 pairs per box, but some boxes can be 200. If you tracked your glove burn rates by “box” then you could be as much as 50% off in either direction. We learned first-hand through multiple COVID-19 deployments that resources can become extremely scarce during disasters, so you can’t be picky about how things are packaged. By taking whatever you can get your hands on and then converting the counts to each, then you’ll always know exactly what you have on hand.
